These photographs were taken near Franconia. Two are of Spring runoff and snowmelt in Coppermine Brook on the way up to Bridal Veil Falls, one is of the first opening of leaves behind Coffin Pond at the Franconia end of Streeter Pond Road, one is of Black Brook in full spate just before it joins the Gale River, and one is of a newly plowed field from Route 10 just north of Lyme. I love spring’s ease to the eye after winter’s stark contrasts.
